This Privacy Policy explains how WhatsX Pro ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and platform. By using our services you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data: name, work email, phone number, business name. Collected at signup and when you invite team members.
- Business data: the customer lists, templates, messages, and campaigns you create inside the product. Stored in your private account, isolated from every other account.
- Usage data: per-period message counts, login timestamps, error logs. Used for billing and reliability.
- Payment data: handled by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details. We only store Razorpay subscription and invoice identifiers.
2. How we use information
- To operate the platform — dispatch messages, render dashboards, send transactional emails.
- To enforce plan quotas and prevent abuse.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To send service notifications (billing, quota alerts, security).
3. WhatsApp data
We connect to WhatsApp on your behalf to deliver the messages you send through WhatsX Pro, using the Official WhatsApp Business API (the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.). The message content, recipient phone numbers, and delivery metadata are processed by Meta as part of delivering your messages, in accordance with Meta's terms and privacy practices. We use your WhatsApp connection solely to send the messages you initiate through our platform. We do not read your personal chats and never sell your connection details.
4. Sharing of data
We do not sell your data. We share data with the following processors only to the extent required to operate the service:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business Platform) — delivery of messages sent through the Official WhatsApp Business API, including message content, recipient numbers, and delivery status.
- Razorpay — payment processing, subscription management, invoicing.
- SMTP provider — transactional email delivery (password resets, quota alerts).
- Cloud infrastructure provider — hosting and storage of application data.
5. Recipient consent and opt-in
WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy requires that you message only recipients who have opted in to hear from your business. You are responsible for obtaining and recording that consent for every contact you upload or message through WhatsX Pro. We provide tools to help you manage contacts and templates, but the lawful basis and consent for your messaging remain your responsibility as the sender.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained while your subscription is active. On cancellation, data is retained for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion by writing to support@whatsxpro.com.
7. Security
- Data is encrypted in transit using TLS.
- Each account's data is stored isolated from every other account.
- API keys are stored hashed and shown only at creation.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to support@whatsxpro.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Children
Our services are not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice.
